Sunday Musical Interlude: R.I.P. Gil Scott Heron
I have always loved Gil Scott Heron and was sad to hear of his passing this week. Here is my favorite of his poem/songs titled the “Bottle.” He narrates a tale of alcoholism, poverty, and prison culture.
