Sirens: A Spoken Word Piece by Kuumba Lynx Youth
I was privileged to organize an event this past Saturday featuring some amazing youth activists and leaders in Chicago who are addressing the school to prison pipeline.
This was one of the more powerful moments of the day. Youth from Kuumba Lynx perform a terrific spoken word piece called “Sirens.” I dare you not to be inspired to continue to work towards dismantling the pipeline after watching this performance.
